Cal State San Bernardino will celebrate its Class of 2020 commencement when students from the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses participate in four virtual ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 12.
The Association of Latino Faculty, Staff and Students will celebrate the Class of 2020 when it hosts the Fall Latinx Graduate Recognition Ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. The ceremony will be livestreamed on YouTube.
Olivia Rosas, Outstanding Doctorate Student, and Princess Marie Etuale, Outstanding Graduate, are the College of Education’s top students for the Class of 2020.
Sandra Cardenas has been named the College of Natural Sciences' 2019-20 Outstanding Graduate Student and Marvin Macharia named the college’s 2019-20 Outstanding Undergraduate Student.
D’Andra Johnson, clinical/counseling psychology, is the college’s Outstanding Graduate Student, and Ginny Park, psychology, is the Outstanding Undergraduate Student.
The CSUSB Palm Desert Campus has named Kameron Manshadi as its Outstanding Undergraduate Student for 2020. Manshadi received a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
The 421 bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees awarded this spring is the highest number in the history of the campus. This year’s commencement ceremony was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The university’s goal is to recognize graduates with a traditional ceremony when it is safe to gather in celebration.
More than 1,100 students participated in CSUSB’s 19th December commencement during three graduation ceremonies on Dec. 7.
The CSUSB Veterans Success Center honored its graduating veterans by giving them special stoles to wear for the university’s 2019 Fall Commencement, which will take place with three ceremonies in Coussoulis Arena on Saturday, Dec. 7.
