Cal State San Bernardino’s Veterans Success Center and CSUSB Air Force ROTC Detachment 002 will celebrate the U.S. Air Force’s 70th birthday on Friday, Sept. 29, at 1:30 p.m.
The event on Sept. 29 marked the sixth time since 2012 that the CSUSB Veterans Success Center hosted a celebration for the U.S. Air Force.
The celebration, which is free and open to the public, will be held on the CSUSB Coyote Bookstore lawn on Friday, Oct. 12, at 11:30 a.m.
Gregory R. Coker, who completed his master’s degree in rehabilitative counseling and is the founder and CEO of the Reaching New Heights Foundation Inc., was honored at the Veterans Recognition Program.
Cal State San Bernardino continues its recognition as a top school for men and women of the military service, ranking at No. 15 in the Military Times Best: Colleges 2018 list for four-year universities.
The expertise David Yaghoubian (history), Brian Levin (criminal justice) and a study by Daniel MacDonald and Yasemin Dildar (economics) were highlighted by news media over the weekend.
Research done by Connie McReynolds, director of the CSUSB neurofeedback clinics, and her staff at the Institute for Research, Assessment & Professional Development is featured.
The university is among the nation’s best institutions serving military and veteran students in the large universities category, and the only one ranked that high in the state.
