
Matt Durkan has been hired as the new director of development at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus.

Elin Wahman, a program administrator for The Annexstad Family Foundation, visited the Cal State San Bernardino Palm Desert Campus recently and met with three recipients of the Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship, which the foundation supports.

The national initiative, based out of the private, nonprofit National University System, now includes more than 20 universities nationwide; CSUSB is the first university to participate as part of the California State University.

Cal State San Bernardino and its Palm Desert Campus will be closed Monday, April 1, in observance of the state holiday commemorating the birthday of the late labor leader César Chávez.
