CSUSB said goodbye on to its first Coyotes Rising cohort after the students’ visit to the university from June 24-26. The summer overnight program is for high achieving African American students.
GEAR UP is part of an effort to make students, and their parents, aware of the opportunities available to them to attend college, and what the students need to do so that they can determine their own future.
The week commemorates the continuing success of GEAR UP, a college access program providing students and families the support and resources they need for college success.
The event, which will start outside the Infant and Toddler Lab School at the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences building, begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 6. Participants can register online.
