CSUSB Palm Desert Campus nursing students who assisted with COVID-19 testing in the Coachella Valley with U.S. Rep. and physician Raul Ruiz, D-Palm Desert.

Cal State San Bernardino Palm Desert Campus nursing students supported the Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine’s effort to provide more than 90 free COVID-19 tests to the underserved and uninsured of the East Valley, most of whom are farm workers.

The 11 CSUSB students who participated in this year’s competition were selected from 31 students who participated in the 34th annual CSUSB Student Research Competition held in early February.
