The National Best Chapter Award from Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, is its highest accolade for campus chapters. The latest honor also makes it the 12th time that CSUSB’s Theta Iota Chapter has earned the award.
The award will be used to recruit and train 22 academic fellows per academic year from the CSUSB Undocumented Student Success Center, Office of Pre-College Programs, and 2020 alumni.
Terri Nelson is one of 25 CSU faculty and staff who were selected for the award, which honors those who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership to advance student success.
