“The students are my reason for everything at CSUSB and everything I do with everyone else is in some way to give back to help them, help them reach their dreams,” said Carol Hood, recipient of the Outstanding Faculty Advisor award.
The Murillo Family Observatory, named for philanthropists George and Pauline Murillo, is the only research observatory in the Inland Empire. Pauline Murillo was an elder with the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.
A record crowd of students, alumni, faculty, staff and community attended the weekend festivities, highlighted by a Coyote volleyball win.
Homecoming, CSUSB’s most anticipated event of the fall, which brings together alumni, students and local community members, will be held Oct. 19.
CSUSB alumni and the university community are invited to celebrate the annual Homecoming event on Saturday, Oct. 27, complete with various open houses, the family-friendly Homecoming Bash and the volleyball match vs. Cal State LA.
