A column by Kaitlyn Creasy (philosophy) was included in the top writings in the APA’s 2024 Public Philosophy Op-Ed Contest, Paloma Villegas (sociology) was interviewed for a segment about CSUSB students seeking to make San Bernardino a sanctuary city, and Daisy Ocampo Diaz (history) helped curate an upcoming exhibit, “Fire Kinship: Southern California Native Ecology and Art,” at the UCLA Fowler Museum.

CSUSB concluded its most successful Annual Toy Drive yet, bringing in $7,000-$8,000 worth of toys, which were donated to the nonprofit, Partners Against Violence. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, in collaboration with University Police Department and the Student Health Center, recently concluded the Annual Toy Drive, bringing in $7,000-$8,000 worth of toys – enough to fill a classroom. The toys were delivered to local nonprofit, Partners Against Violence.
