Program Admission
Students are invited to apply to the University Honors Program once they have been admitted to CSUSB. The application includes a student resume, applicant-created meme with a short statement describing the applicant, and a brief essay in response to a prompt. This is completed entirely online and can be accessed with the link below.
A note about GPA- UHP does not discriminate based on GPA but we recommend a GPA of at least 3.3. We will review applications from students with a GPA below 3.3 but an interview may be requested in addition to an application.

Honors Transfer Council of California (HTCC) Affiliated
Beginning Spring 2022, we partnered with HTCC to give our transfer students the opportunity to continue their community college honors program experience. We do not require transfer students to come from an HTCC affiliated school or program, but we acknowledge the dedication that is involved. If you are transferring from an HTCC college and completed your college's honors requirements, we offer a streamlined admissions process.
