Space Planning Advisory Committee
Indoor and outdoor space is a central resource to the campus and is assigned in a consistent and transparent manner designed to optimize its use in the advancement of the mission and strategic priorities of the campus. The Space Planning Advisory Committee (SPAC) meets regularly to review requests for assignment and reassignment of existing space in accordance with CSU guidelines. The committee includes representation from each Division as well as the President’s Office, Faculty Senate and the Associated Students. SPAC makes recommendations to the President on space utilization and uses the space and facilities database to annually report the current assignments of campus space.
