Employee and Labor Relations
Employee and Labor Relations Department is dedicated to maintaining a positive working and learning environment in the advancement of organizational and employee excellence. We aim to support the University’s Strategic Initiative efforts to foster a working and learning environment where the differences of our diverse culture are valued, respected and celebrated.
The Employee and Labor Relations team serves as both an informational resource and as a liaison for ensuring that the University is in compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreements. This department provides training and guidance to administration and staff to ensure the appropriate application of legal, regulatory, policy, and union contract interpretation. We are responsible for providing support with investigations, corrective and disciplinary action, performance management, and conflict mediation functions.
