About the Data Analytics Working Group (DAWG)

The Data Analytics Working Group at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) aims to be a hub for data analytics information and resources for the campus and the community. Its goal is to develop, share, and distribute data analytics skills. The vision is to foster a data-empowered community working within a culture of open science, leveraging expertise across a variety of disciplines including Business, Statistics, and Computer Science.

For students, this serves as a location away from the classroom where they can learn about the various types of programs. Faculty experts on programs such as R, Python, Tableau, Excel, Data Mining, Data Visualization, Data Analytics, and much more are available via various office hours. Students do not need to be in the program or in a specific class to meet with them.

Likewise, this working group is also a hub for faculty members who may need support in terms of research, collecting data and more. The DAWG is available to support the campus and community through various workshops listed HERE
