What services do we provide?
The CSUSB CCAMPIS Program provides two main services:
1. In-person child care subsidy - students who secure a spot for their child at either the ITLS or the Children's Center (and are Pell eligible) can receive 75 to 100% of their childcare tuition from CCAMPIS.
2. Virtual Child Enrichment Services - students who do not secure an in-person childcare slot (and who are Pell eligible) can choose to receive virtual services. This includes monthly learning materials for their child, a weekly activity calendar, and virtual circle times with a trained teacher.
Additional services:
All students enrolled in the CCAMPIS program receive parenting workshops, access to a family friendly study room, parenting and children's books, and support from the CCAMPIS staff.
Who is eligible?
In order to be eligible to apply for CCAMPIS funding you must:
- Be Pell grant eligible (this is determined simply by filing a FAFSA with the CSUSB Financial Aid office prior to applying for childcare scholarship aid)
- Be an undergraduate student enrolled at least half-time (six units per semester) at CSUSB for the term during which subsidies are sought.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Be the parent of a child/children aged six months to twelve years old, with the child/children having been claimed as a dependent on your previous year's federal tax return. (If child was not old enough to have been claimed on last year's tax return, a copy of the birth certificate will suffice).
- As a result of the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA), students enrolled in a graduate or first professional course of study and students in the United States for a temporary purpose are eligible to receive the benefits of CCAMPIS.

How do I apply?
If you meet the above criteria and are interested in applying for the CCAMPIS grant, please go to the Infant/Toddler Lab School and/or the Children's Center to inquire about enrolling your child. Upon successful enrollment at the Infant/Toddler Lab School or the Children's Center, pick up an eligibility application for CCAMPIS from I/TLS or the Children's Center. If you do not get a spot at either center, you will be asked at this time if you would be interested in enrolling in Virtual Services. Be sure to apply prior to the semester in which you wish to receive funding. Applications stand for one academic year (Fall, Spring and Summer).
