What is the Common App?
The Common App, or Common Application, is an online application that simplifies the admissions process, allowing you to create one application for multiple schools.
Things to know about the Common App:
- Not all schools use the Common App
- List of schools that use the Common App
- Supplemental essays are the only non-standardized part of the application. Meaning that supplemental essay questions on the Common App will be determined by the specific schools to which you apply. Therefore, you need to choose a school first to know which supplemental essay prompts you need to practice.
