President Morales shares CSUSB’s achievements, contributions at Riverside Chambers of Commerce event

More than 150 business leaders attended the chambers’ program held at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside to learn from CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales about the university’s programs and how they are making an impact in the region.

The grant from the U.S. Department of Education is aimed at increasing the number of Hispanic and low-income students who are from STEM courses.

CSUSB receives $4.9 million grant to increase Hispanics getting degrees in STEM fields

The five-year grant, “Proactive Approaches for Training Hispanics (PATHS) in STEM,” will help increase graduation rates and prepare students for graduate and professional schools.
