Minimum Qualifications:
-Enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 units for UG and 3 units for GRAD)
-Minimum GPA of 2.0 of greater
-Eligible to work in the United States (can provide necessary I-9 identification documents)
-Federal Work Study Student Assistants must be receiving FWS as a part of their FAFSA Award
-International NRA Student Assistants must be enrolled full-time on campus to maintain eligibility
-Bridge Student Assistants must be able to show half-time minimum enrollment for the PRIOR and UPCOMING terms to maintain eligibility over Summer Bridge Sessions
-20 hours per week while in academic session

1150 - Instructional Student Assistant
1151 - Instructional Student Assistant; Federal Work Study

Minimum Qualifications:
-The Instructional Student Assistant classification is distinguished by the nature of work performed. The majority of work performed in a given appointment is tutoring, grading and/or teaching work.
-Students who are hired as Instructional Student Assistants assist a professor with their class load through miscellaneous tasks such as conducting research, teaching, facilitating group discussions, grading papers, or tutoring.
-Federal Work Study ISA's must meet all FWS qualifications to be considered eligible (must be receiving FWS as a part of their FAFSA Award)
-Off -Campus ISA's must have approval from the district/school to work, and may be required to be fingerprinted & submit a background check
-Completion of specific coursework may be required in order to teach, grade or tutor a course
-20 hours per week while in academic session

Minimum Qualifications:
-Admission or registration as a student of the CSU on at least a half-time basis
-California resident
-Student must be an undergraduate or Teaching Credential student
-Must meet the eligibility requirements of the LAEP as determined by the campus’ Financial Aid Office
-Must have the necessary knowledge and abilities required by the campus to adequately perform the duties of the assignment
-Direct opportunities to participate in the research that is undertaken by the respective department
-Must demonstrate a financial need
-20 hours per week while in academic session
