Welcome to the Department of Nursing (DON) Pre-Licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Admissions Information Page
Please note that the Pre-licensure BSN is an impacted program. As an impacted, highly competitive program, admission to the Pre-licensure BSN program is a 2-step process.
1.) Acceptance to the university as a Pre-Nursing student.
2.) Completion of the DON supplemental online application during valid application periods.
The Spring 2026 PL-BSN Application will open on June 11, 2025.

Admission requirements and the application process will differ depending on whether applicants are current CSUSB Pre-Nursing students, transfer students, or post-baccalaureate (post-bac) students.
