Congratulations to Mariano Peinado who was accepted into this summer’s Broadening Participation in Social Inequality Research program at the University of California Davis.

CSU selects seven CSUSB students for prestigious Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Scholars program. The program, which is awarded to juniors, seniors and graduate students, provides financial assistance for those interested in exploring and preparing for a doctoral program.

Serenity Chavez completed the Summer Program for the Advancement of Women in Philosophy. SPAWP involves a 10-day program hosted by the UC, San Diego Philosophy Department. SPAWP 2022 welcomed 15 women from both local and international cities. https://spwp.ucsd.edu/
CSUSB part of first-ever, five-campus consortium grant that will support future underrepresented humanities students
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — For the first time ever, a four-year, five-campus consortium grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation will be given to local California State Universities to establish the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) program, with Cal State San Bernardino as one of the participating campuses.
“As a Hispanic Serving Institution, CSUSB seamlessly lines up with the goals of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship program,” said CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales. “We deeply value the diversity of our campus community and are pleased to continue to support such diversity.”.
