The Visual Identity Manual demonstrates how to correctly use the university’s visual identity package (official logo and sub-identity logos). It serves as a valuable reference tool to help you better understand how campus departments/units fit in the overall identity architecture of the university, which helps ensure quality, consistency and a unified visual brand identity.
Its purpose is to guide you in creating and strengthening our branding efforts. While the CSUSB Visual Identity Manual sets policies and guidelines for using and enhancing CSUSB's visual identity, it also provides users with assistance and flexibility so that the university is visually depicted in a consistent manner.
The CSUSB Visual Identity Manual includes information about:
- The university name, logos and seal, along with the proper use of each;
- The overall identity architecture of the university and where campus departments/units fit in;
- How to request logo files and obtain approval from Office of Marketing and Communications;
The CSUSB Visual Identity Manual is available to download as a PDF document. You may also order a printed version from Printing Services. Normal chargeback fees will apply.
General questions about these guidelines and use of the marks should be directed to the Office of Marketing and Communications at (909) 537-5007 or email logo@csusb.edu.
