Model United Nations

The United Nations General Assembly Hall. Cal State San Bernardino’s Model United Nations program is now accepting applications for students wanting to participate on the team for the National United Nations Conference in New York City in April.

Interested students from any academic discipline can apply for the program through the online application by Dec. 13. Learn more at a virtual information session on Dec. 5.

The team, representing the nation of Burundi, was honored with the Outstanding Delegation Award, the highest award given by the National Model United Nations Conference in New York City, arguably the most prestigious conference of its kind.

The university’s Model United Nations program continued its tradition of excellence when it brought home Distinguished Delegation honors while representing Austria at the prestigious National Model United Nations Conference in New York City.

The CSUSB Model United Nations team represented the countries of Jamaica and India at the National Model United Nations-Japan conference, held in late November in Kobe, Japan.

The students representing India earned a Distinguished Delegation award, and the students representing Jamaica were recognized with the Outstanding Delegates in Committee award. Both are among the highest honors given at by the National Model United Nations.

CSUSB’s Model United Nations team again earned top honors at the recent National Model United Nations Conference in New York City, and given its long track record of excellence, solidifying the university’s program among the best in the world.

The team of 18 students, representing diverse academic and personal backgrounds, earned the Outstanding Delegation Award, the highest honor given by the National Model United Nations Conference. They represented the country of Cameroon in the annual conference held April 2-8 in New York City.
