
The region’s top business leaders were recognized at the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship’s annual Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards banquet on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Riverside Convention Center.

The event at The Vintage Club in Indian Wells on Dec. 4 celebrated and acknowledged the Cal State San Bernardino Palm Desert Campus’ founders, donors and community partners.

The Palm Desert Campus at Cal State San Bernardino has added seven new members to its Advancement Board for the current academic year.

Artist and Cal State San Bernardino alumna Jean Vezzalini will host the reception Feb. 20 at the Palm Desert Campus’ Indian Wells Theater.

The University Legacy Scholarship is offered to the valley’s best and brightest. Completed applications for the 2018-19 academic year must be received or postmarked by March 2, and are to include transcripts and letters of recommendation.

Community members will be honored for their service by the Cal State San Bernardino Black Faculty, Staff and Student Association at the 6th annual Pioneer Breakfast on Friday, Feb. 23.

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation will give a grant to local California State Universities, including CSUSB, to establish the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) program.

Local community members were honored for their service and student scholarship recipients were announced by the Cal State San Bernardino Black Faculty, Staff and Student Association at the sixth annual Pioneer Breakfast on Feb. 23.

Four information sessions will be held in Jack Brown Hall, Room 122, from noon until 1 p.m. on March 13 and 14, April 3 and 4. The application deadline is May 1.
