
The event, hosted by the Department of World Languages and Literatures in CSUSB’s College of Arts and Letters, will spotlight Korean culture, cuisine and performance.

Stuart Sumida (biology) was interviewed about his work as an animation consultant on some of Hollywood’s blockbuster films, including Academy Award-nominated “Soul,” and Bomi Hwang (Korean Language and Culture) was honored as the university’s Outstanding Lecturer.

The CSUSB Korean Culture Club will host the fifth annual Korean Festival on Friday, May 3, at the Santos Manuel Student Union, featuring a traditional wedding ceremony, dinner reception and performance showcase.

The Korea Foundation Grant Steering committee, led by Professor Bomi Hwang, lecturer in the CSUSB World Languages and Literatures Department, has approved a number of activities that have benefited departments across campus.
