Manuel Paul, who graduated in 2017 with a degree in physics, is a recipient of the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He credits CSUSB for preparing him for post-graduate studies.

About 1,500 alumni, family and friends celebrated CSUSB’s Homecoming at the Coyote Dining Quad, featuring food vendors, a beer garden, photo booth, family-fun kid zone, a DJ, giveaways and the Coyote women’s volleyball defeating Cal State LA.
One of the highlights of the Nov. 5 event was the presentation by the Carvajal/Hale family, founders of Optima Family Services, who gave a $10,000 scholarship to CSUSB student Sam Martinez.
The alumni, Charles Brown and Wil Greer, who is also an assistant professor of educational leadership at his alma mater, will be recognized at the event on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino.
