
Following a conversation about the uniqueness of Korean artwork, from the ancient to the present, attendees experienced a traditional Korean tea ceremony with tea master Youngmi Yi, director of the Myung Won Cultural Foundation Tea Ceremony.

The symposium, hosted by CSUSB and its University Diversity Committee in partnership with the Westside Action Group, will be held in the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union and feature keynote speaker Gail C. Christopher.

Enrique Murillo (education) discusses the upcoming LEAD Summit X at CSUSB on March 28, and Brian Levin (criminal justice) is interviewed about the New Zealand terrorist attacks and other topics.

Gerald Sorin will present “Remnants of Jewish Life in Post-Holocaust Europe: A Personal Journey,” on May 13 in Palm Desert and May 14 in Riverside.

The event, “To Serve Me, You Must Know Me,” presented by the Inland Empire Disabilities Collaborative, will take place at the university’s Yasuda Center beginning at 9 a.m.

Panel presentations and keynote speeches will focus on the idea that every voice counts and civic engagement is vital when the Latino Education and Advocacy Days Summit X takes place at CSUSB on Thursday, March 28.
