Cal State San Bernardino’s commitment to community service was on full display during Coyote Cares Day 2025, as students, alumni, faculty and staff came together on Feb. 22 to volunteer across local communities. This tradition, organized by the Division of Student Affairs, provided participants with the opportunity to engage in hands-on service projects that made a tangible impact.
Volunteers from the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses rolled up their sleeves to take part in activities such as environmental clean-ups, beautification projects and supporting local nonprofit organizations. The event reinforced CSUSB’s dedication to uplifting and restoring neighborhoods, while also fostering meaningful connections among members of the Coyote family.
In addition to service work, the day was filled with camaraderie, shared experiences, and a spirit of giving. Volunteers received meals and event T-shirts in appreciation for their hard work.
As one of CSUSB’s most anticipated service traditions, Coyote Cares Day continues to highlight the university’s dedication to community engagement and social responsibility. The annual event not only strengthens ties between the university and the broader community but also instills a lifelong passion for service in those who participate.
