Cal State San Bernardino executive chef Ashley Pitts will be live on Zoom starting at noon on Friday, Feb. 26, to show the campus community how to make smoothie bowls in three different ways.
The Live at Home Virtual Teaching Kitchen series is a great way for Coyotes to learn new cooking skills and easy recipes they can make in their own kitchen, and to expand their health, wellness and nutritional knowledge.
Register in advance for the event at the Yotie Eats Teaching Kitchen registration webpage. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the event.
Prior to being the CSUSB Yotie Eats executive chef, Pitts worked at the University of Houston, Moody Towers Dining, where she worked as a sous chef for three years. Her passion for food all started with her family, specifically with her grandma, who she would spend time with in the kitchen. From culinary competitions in high school to interning at L’Auberge Casino during college, Pitts has been in the industry for 11 years.
