CSUSB’s newest campus residential and dining experiences – Coyote Village and Coyote Commons – have been completed and are set to open this fall.The first to open is the Howl & Growl, located inside Coyote Commons, which opens Sept. 4. The Howl & Growl features the first late-night, hot-food unit, a coffee shop, a market and a convenience store.Hours for the Howl & Growl will be Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 2 p.m., and beginning Sept. 16, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.- midnight; Friday and Saturday, 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m.Coyote Commons, the new CSUSB dining hall, will open its doors on Sept. 16.Coyote Village, the future home of 407 first-year students, will also open its doors on Sept. 16. The new facility will feature study spaces, a large multipurpose room, and will be home to two faculty-in-residence and the Honors Program.The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be Sept. 17, from 2-3 p.m., in the courtyard of Coyote Village.
