Greetings to you all: students, alumni, community partners, and friends. Thank you for visiting the School of Cyber and Decision Sciences website, and thank you for your time and interest in wanting to find more about our school programs and the wonderful opportunities we can offer you to succeed in your career

Currently, we are living in the era of the 4th Industrial revolution driven by exponential changes in technology, which has created significant changes in the job market and how we experience our life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These changes call for different skillsets and education for when you graduate. That is why our undergraduate and graduate degree programs are structured in such a way that provides these essential qualities in Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Information Systems and Technology, and Supply Chain Management. Additionally, we offer minors in Information Systems and Technology and Supply Chain Management, as well as several certificates, including Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, SAP, and Supply Chain Management. Students are welcome to pursue dual concentrations, dual majors, a major(s) with minor(s) across the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration sector.

Furthermore, our school is recognized by various government agencies, businesses, and professional communities across the nation and has become a national leader in cybersecurity education. Due to its excellent curriculum and the faculty’s incredible expertise in cyber security, CSU San Bernardino was designated as a Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) by the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) and the NSA (National Security Agency) in 2008, and then re-designated again in 2021 as a CAE in Cyber Defense Education through 2028. Our degree is also recognized for its specialty concentrations that include, but are not limited to, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence and Information Technology, Cyber Investigations, and Network Security Administration. We have received over $14 million in grants from the National Science Foundation, Department of Defense, and other federal and state agencies. These grants allow us to offer full scholarships to our qualified students and to make our programs available across disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Currently, our Cybersecurity program also collaborates with the Public Administration, National Security Studies, and Criminal Justice departments across the university.

These achievements reflect our school’s focus on developing our students’ abilities to meet the immediate needs of employers in local, national, and global companies. Through our various partnerships with communities, other departments, schools, and colleges, we have created a unique curriculum and a variety of programs that refine the adequacies of our students. Our faculty are committed to upholding world-class instruction by utilizing innovative teaching methods including case studies, hands-on lab exercises, service learning, real-world application, student participation, and problem solving to facilitate learning in classrooms. Our faculty engage in cutting-edge applied research in a variety of areas and publish in several leading academic journals. Specialized advisors are also available to discuss our student's career options, student leadership opportunities, program and class choices, and general questions related to potential careers.

We invite you to visit with us to further explore the great opportunities our school has to offer if you are considering a career in this ever-evolving world of technology. Thank you again and we are looking forward to working with you and having you on board with us.
