Infant Toddler Lab School As is typical of Laboratory Schools, The Infant/Toddler Lab School serves three basic functions to the university community and the wider community within which we reside: teaching, research, service. Parenting Classes The Institute of Child Development and Family Relations at CSUSB offers a variety of research-based parent education courses for parents, parents-to-be, caregivers, those who work with children and families, and other interested individuals. All courses highlight the importance of a secure parent-child attachment relationship and the use of positive child guidance strategies. Quality Start Riverside County The Quality Start Riverside County (QSRC) project entails utilizing assessment tools to evaluate the quality of diverse early learning environments throughout Riverside county. This project is in support of the Quality Rating Improvement System efforts administered by the Riverside County Office of Education. Quality Start San Bernardino QSSB is a multi-agency endeavor designed to evaluate and elevate the quality of child care in San Bernardino County. This is achieved by assessing, rating, and coaching local child care providers. Racial Equity Project Working with community partners, research racial discrimination and racial equity in early childhood education in San Bernardino County. Student Parent Resource Center Coming soon: The Student-Parent Resource Center will be an on-campus place for student-parents and campus community members with children to come to receive information and resources as well as to join in social activities with other student-parents. Students Deserve Success Tutoring The Students Deserve Success Tutoring program funded by San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools serves unhoused youth residing in San Bernadino County shelters.
