CSUSB’s College Corps initiative receives two-year renewal from state
CSUSB’s College Corps initiative has been selected as a 2024-26 College Corps campus and will receive nearly $2.5 million in funding, which equals 150 more fellows over the next two years.

CSUSB community turns out for annual Coyote Cares Day
Coyote Cares Day on Feb. 17 had volunteers packing food for a local pantry and going out into the community to help out at area agencies for the annual day of service by students, faculty, staff and alumni from Cal State San Bernardino.

Cal State San Bernardino junior and College Corps fellow Juliana Garcia was placed with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert, which matches K-12 students, affectionately called “littles,” with college students called “bigs.” Garcia is part of a site-based program in which she meets with her little sister at their local Boys & Girls Club to help with homework and act as a mentor. She also provides guidance to the other College Corps fellows and helps coordinate monthly activities with the other Boys & Girls Club students.
