AY 20-21 Planning

Procedures and Considerations for 2020-21 Academic Year Planning

As part of CSUSB’s commitment to the health, welfare and safety of our students, faculty and staff, CSUSB will offer courses primarily through virtual instruction. A limited number of face-to-face courses and labs with physical distancing and hygiene measures in place are being offered when the course/lab learning outcomes cannot be met with courses being offered virtually and to maintain momentum to degree completion. CSUSB has also identified the health and safety strategies and protocols that have been implemented for sanitation, campus dining, reporting requirements, on-campus housing, facilities, intercollegiate athletics and more. Details are documented in the below Fall 2020 Procedures and Considerations for AY 2020/21 Planning link, which was submitted to and approved by the Chancellor’s Office. We employed a fully consultative process with ASI, Faculty Senate, Staff Council, unions, deans, chairs and public health agencies from both San Bernardino and Riverside Counties in the creation of the plan.

Fall 2020 Procedures and Considerations for AY 2020/21 Planning

The  COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a very fluid situation. CSUSB continues to monitor and follow the guidelines and recommendations provided from the Governor’s Office, the CSU Chancellor’s Office, state and local public health agencies and others. In an ongoing and transparent commitment to providing information to the campus community, CSUSB will continue to post any edits or changes to the above planning document.
