Rosalia Casas, Executive Assistant to CEOS

Rosalia Casas is the current executive assistant to the CEOS. As a second-year graduate student in the MSIOP Program, Rosalia has been able to design research projects and construct measurement tools for data collection, allowing her to acquire self-discipline, high organization, and attention to detail. She also has several years of experience working in the education system with Moreno Valley Unified School District as a tutor, athletic coach, and substitute teacher. Rosalia responds to students' various needs and learning styles in this role to ensure their success. She is an active member in her community and was recently awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Service award in 2023. Rosalia has educational expertise in talent management, recruiting techniques, training methods, project management, and workshop development.

Saray Valenzuela Jaime, Associate Consultant

Saray Valenzuela Jaime, a current M.S. IO Psychology graduate student, has honed her skills in research design, statistics, and consulting practices, allowing her to apply her knowledge to investigate and present solutions to organizational challenges. Her experience as a university Research Assistant has led to her involvement in multiple consulting projects aimed at improving employee performance and job satisfaction. Saray has facilitated the development of surveys, conducted data analysis on employee perceptions, and contributed to developing and delivering training programs for supervisors. Moreover, Saray has demonstrated her versatility by providing consulting services to diverse clients, including minority-owned and small businesses around the Inland Empire.

Irene Barajas, Marketing Intern

Irene Barajas is a third-year Business Administration and Management student with a minor in Marketing. As the CEOS marketing intern, her contributions have been vital in developing various service platforms, where she has played an essential role in construction and design. Within her community, Irene has held roles at the 66ers Baseball Stadium and various businesses around the Inland Empire. Through these experiences, Irene has cultivated a deep understanding of consumer behavior and marketing research, enabling her to provide valuable insights for enhancing marketability. Her academic pursuits have prepared her with the necessary skills to effectively analyze, strategize, communicate, and present solutions that address diverse organizational needs.

Talisa Horton, Marketing Intern

Talisa Horton is a marketing intern in the MBA program, holding an Accounting degree from Clark Atlanta University. She specializes in strategic marketing, digital marketing, and marketing research. Her skills and academic knowledge have enhanced brand visibility and engagement for the CEOS. Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Talisa has acquired tacit knowledge, enabling her to attract and retain a diverse target audience effectively. While completing her undergraduate degree at CAU, Talisa started a small business servicing young black women in the community, specializing in protective hairstyling. During the six years of running her small business, she developed skills in website design, social media marketing, data analysis, customer relationship management, and content creation. Talisa’s exposure to entrepreneurship ultimately sparked her interest in pursuing a master’s degree in marketing management while deepening her commitment to fostering community engagement.

Externship opportunities

The Center for Effective Organizational Solutions also provides support for graduate students within the MSIO program by offering internship opportunities that align with their unique goals and exposing them to the world of consulting. The CEOS exposes students to business professionals; fostering consulting collaboration and bridging the gap between science and practice.
