Research & Creative Activity Presentations
Our faculty are active scholars, performers, and artists who present their work locally, nationally, and internationally. Each academic term, the College hosts a faculty colloquium or roundtable for faculty to share their research interests and creative activities.
Dr. Bibiana Díaz observes that: "As a junior faculty member, the roundtable gave me a broad perspective on collaborative research and teaching. Just listening to what other colleagues are working on enhances our scholarly perspective and motivates us."

On Nov. 19, 2020, five recently tenured or promoted faculty members in the College of Arts and Letters shared details about their work and research via Zoom.
Following an introduction by Dean Rueyling Chuang, Prof. Johanna Smith from the Department of Theatre Arts facilitated presentations by Dr. Maria Garcia-Puente, World Languages and Literatures; Prof. Ed Gomez, Art and Design; Dr. Liliana Conlisk Gallegos, Communication Studies; Dr. Julie L. Taylor, Communication Studies; and Dr. Dany Doueiri, World Languages and Literatures.
