CSUSB ATOD Committee: Navigating Substance Use Responsibly
The Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD) Committee, led by Melissa Acuna, Senior Health Educator at the Student Health Center, plays a crucial role in fostering a healthier campus community. Comprising stakeholders from various academic and student affairs departments, this committee is dedicated to addressing the complex challenges associated with substance use on campus.
The primary objective of the ATOD Committee is to educate and empower the campus community to make informed and responsible choices regarding their substance use. By fostering a culture of awareness, providing resources, and promoting responsible choices, they contribute significantly to the overall welfare and success of the campus community.
The committee meets twice a semester to discus ongoing ATOD efforts across the campus. To join our ongoing meeting, please contact melissa.acuna@csusb.edu.
