Yotie Oso Undergraduate Retention & Success (YOURS) AANHPI Student Achievement Program

About Us

The YOURS AANHPI Student Achievement Program is dedicated to supporting the academic, personal, and professional success of undergraduate students in the AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander) community. Our program provides a holistic approach to student development and academic success by offering a range of tailored resources and services.

Academic & Career Support:
We offer personalized advising to help students with academic planning, career exploration, and access to essential resources. Through our Student Mentoring Program, students connect with peers for guidance and support in navigating their academic journey. Our Program Advisor Outreach ensures students are aware of academic resources, career opportunities, and scholarship options.

Mental Health & Wellness:
We understand that academic success is closely tied to a student’s well-being. In addition to academic support, we connect students with programs that foster a sense of community, identity, and belonging. This includes access to the APIDA Center and First Peoples Center programming, where students can participate in cultural and social events, including Cultural Celebrations such as Filipino American Heritage Month, Indigenous Heritage Month, Diwali, and more.

We also partner with the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) to offer APIDA + CAPS Sessions with AANHPI counselors, providing tailored mental health support that recognizes the unique challenges AANHPI students may face.

Educational Workshops & Programming:
Our ongoing YOURS Programming offers workshops on topics that directly address the academic and career needs of our students, from study skills and goal-setting to career exploration and internship opportunities.

At YOURS, we’re committed to supporting the AANHPI student community through academic success, career exploration, cultural connection, and mental health wellness, ensuring that all students have the tools they need to thrive both academically and personally.
