The October issue of Stories from the Pack highlights the Nursing Street Medicine Program at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus, which brings compassionate healthcare directly to underserved communities across the Coachella Valley. Led by nursing faculty and students, the program provides on-site medical care and education to individuals experiencing homelessness and others in need — reflecting CSUSB’s ongoing commitment to service, equity and community impact.
To celebrate Native American Heritage Month, the university will host a number of events and activities highlighting the rich history and heritage of Indigenous peoples.

Dear Palm Desert Campus Community,
Construction of a new concrete pad for 2 existing storage containers on the Palm Desert Campus is scheduled to start on 11/7/2025 and be completed on 12/15/2025. As indicated in blue on the attached map, the containers are located temporarily on the asphalt road until the concrete pad is constructed, at which point they will be moved to the concrete pad.

The project is located on the northeast corner of the Verizon building at the Palm Desert Campus.
