Joanina Gazcon

Helping the community is what drives two-time CSUSB alumna Joanina Gazcon '18 '20. Her passion has not only brought her a fulfilling career, but it has even earned her an invitation to the White House for her work with disaster preparedness agency El Sol. She credits CSUSB for providing her with all the skills she needed to succeed, even in activities such as track-and-field, which taught her accountability and self-efficacy. Joanina is using her education to make an impact on the community, knowing her degrees in public health are being used to change lives.
