After graduating in spring 2020 with a B.A. in communication studies, Elena Johnson joined several other CSUSB alumnae at NASA, where she works for the storied NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base as a public affairs specialist.

The TEDxCSUSB: Defining the Future speaking webinar will take place virtually on June 7. Members of the Coyote family can submit their speaking proposals through the TEDxCSUSB website by Wednesday, March 17.

The College of Arts and Letters and the School of Entrepreneurship partnered to create the new “Entrepreneurship in the Arts” minor, designed for all students in the arts, with the first core class offered this spring.

The Speaking Center at JHBC, which opened in winter 2020, helps students practice their public speaking skills, hone their oral presentation skills, and become more comfortable in public speaking moments overall.
