
University President Tomás D. Morales thanked the alumni for attending the sixth annual alumni mixer, reminding them that that university was there for them.

The event, which was the largest mixer of the year, recognized Rusty Bailey, Riverside mayor and CSUSB alumnus, for his leadership and dedication to the region.

Riverside Mayor Rusty Bailey (CSUSB ’04) welcomed CSUSB President Tomás Morales and fellow university alumni to Riverside for a special evening for tsecond annual alumni mixer held at the top floor of Riverside City Hall on Dec. 6.

Jean Peacock (psychology) and Eri Yasuhara (world languages and literatures), the two founders of CSUSB’s University Faculty Mentoring Network were honored, and Brian Levin (criminal justice) was interviewed about a rarely prosecuted hate crime law.

Alemayehu G. Mariam (political science), Brian Levin (criminal justice) and David Yaghoubian (history) shared their expertise with the media.
