CSUSB has appointed Native American educator and advocate Vincent Whipple as the university’s newly created director of Tribal Relations to increase the college-going rates and success of Native American students.
Cal State San Bernardino participated in the Inter-Tribal Education Collaborative’s 5th Annual College Exploration Day that took place at UC Irvine recently.
Teters will present “Whats in Your Heart” April 18 at CSUSB and April 19 at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus. Both events are free, but space is limited. Please RSVP by April 12 to the CSUSB Office of Tribal Relations.
Charlene Teters took the audience on an audio and visual journey when she discussed her experiences as a child, student, parent, artist and activist protesting the use of Native Americans as sports mascots.
