The Opening Ceremony for Womxn’s History Month, attended by more than 75 faculty, staff and students, took place on Monday, March 4, at the Santos Manuel Student Union North and featured an engaging and thought-provoking panel discussion based on this month’s theme, Sisterhood & Solidarity.
The annual Womxn’s History Month celebration at Cal State San Bernardino will feature a variety of events that highlight the achievements and contributions of women, which started with an opening ceremony on March 4. This year, the events will focus on the theme, “Sisterhood & Solidarity.”
The Arbor Day Foundation has designated Cal State San Bernardino as a Tree Campus USA for its commitment to planting and maintaining trees to reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Jennifer Sorenson, senior associate vice president for Facilities Planning & Management, credits her upbringing with providing the mindset to choose a career area that interested her, regardless of gender.
