Enrique Murillo Jr. (education) was interviewed for an article about the university’s celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
The university will honor National Hispanic Heritage Month with a number of live and virtual events to celebrate the history, heritage, culture and contributions of Latino Americans.
Many of the monthlong series of events will be virtual as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, that is not preventing CSUSB from offering a wide range of programs to celebrate the month.
The summit will focus on “Sin Fronteras — Education Beyond Borders.” Registration is free.
The 8th annual Latino Education and Advocacy Days Summit is set for March 30, with the focus on “Sin Fronteras — Education Beyond Borders.”
The free, one-day summit will take place Thursday at the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union with the focus “Sin Fronteras — Education Beyond Borders.”
