More than 700 students came out to Cosmic Coyote on Nov. 3 from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. at the Santos Manuel Student Union (SMSU) North. Program Board hosted the event to help students relax, bond, and forge connections with their fellow Yotes. Students enjoyed bowling, pool, karaoke, and music from two DJs, which included a CSUSB alumni and student.

This was the first year Cosmic Coyote was held. However, due to the success of the event, plans are already underway for the next one.

Students were the driving force for the event and worked together to create it. Students from the Program Board, Financial Literacy Center, Building Managers, and AV team played an invaluable role in the success of the event. Their dedicated support ensured seamless management and execution of the event from conception to completion.

At the event, the Financial Literacy Center provided 200 meals to students. In addition, students had the opportunity to learn about financial information, scholarships, and the Financial Literacy Center’s resources.

The Santos Manuel Student Union Program Board promotes a sense of community at CSUSB through exciting, entertainment-oriented events, such as movie showings, bands, dances, and contests held in the SMSU.
