Research and Teaching Interests
Zackary's research is focused on designing active, selective, and stable electrocatalysts for chemical energy conversion systems. The major reactions of interest are water splitting for hyrdogen and oxygen production; carbon dioxide reduction to regenerate liquid fuels; and nitrate to ammonia conversion for agricultural use. Zackary works on this research at the University of Central Florida under Dr. Xiaofeng Feng (link).
