Nick Watson has worked in direct practice and social work supervision for over 28 years. He received both his BASW and MSW from San Diego State University and has worked in the fields of child protective service, domestic violence, homelessness, mental health, medical social work and has an extensive background in community public health services.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Watson was an adjunct faculty member and graduate field liaison in the School of Social Work teaching both Micro and Macro core competencies in the MSW program as well as the BASW elective in substance abuse. His current teaching assignments include Human Behavior and the Social Environment, Child Welfare, Substance Abuse and a seminar in applied practice skills to Title IV-E BASW students.
