Bio

Matthew Habich is an experienced executive, coach, and educator who brings extensive practical experience, as well as emerging new research-based practices to his work in the classroom and in the workplace.

With an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MS in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University, Matthew is currently a Facilitator for XLN (Executive Leadership Network) as well as a Full-Time Lecturer in the department of Management at California State University, San Bernardino.His early career was focused in the high-technology corridors of Silicon Valley, CA and Austin, TX, where he managed business development and product lines for enterprises ranging from promising start-ups to industry leaders like Intel, Ericsson, and Unisys.

In 2002 he founded an Austin-based executive coaching business and in 2004 was invited to become a CEO leadership group Chair for Vistage, the largest and oldest CEO membership organization in the world. 

In 2008, Matthew relocated with his family to Southern California, where he led Siemens Industry Inc’s Los Angeles-based water-technologies business, providing high stakes quick-turnaround services to high-profile customers including Tesoro, Valero, Chevron, and LADWP and ground water remediation services to customers such as Lockheed Martin.

Matthew currently teaches as a full-time lecturer in Management on the faculty at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), where his expertise and interests include business communications, organizational behavior, and business ethics.  In 2017 he was recognized as the Outstanding Instructor in the College of Business and Public Administration, and in 2024 he was selected from among all lecturers at CSUSB to receive the 2023-24 Outstanding Lecturer Award.
