Dr. Jay Varzandeh is a professor of Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation Management, has taught for over 30 years at CSUSB while served as the Chair of the Inland Empire Management Center, Director of MBA, Executive Co-director of Inland Commerce Security Institute, and currently is the Chair of the Department of Information and Decision Sciences. He has been teaching in the areas of Global logistics, supply chain security, project management, statistics, management sciences, quality management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and SAP. He is certified in Production and Inventory Control, statistical quality management, and he is Malcom Baldrige quality investigator. Dr. Varzandeh is internationally and nationally recognized educator, author, and consultant. He has published over 70 research articles in numerous academic and industry journals in Logistics, Quality management, Just-in-time, Data and business analytics, and has received over 15 best paper, research, and teaching awards. Also, he has developed and directed over 20 workshops and seminars in Statistical quality control, Master Scheduling, Operations scheduling, six-sigma quality and more, nationwide.
Dr. Varzandeh has worked as a researcher and professional consultant for major national and multinational corporations during past years, including Hayden Corporation, General Dynamics, Midwest Products, Rockwell International, Falcon Corporation, Universal Die Casting, etc., and served on the board of advisory for the non-profit organizations such as International Society for Children with Cancer (ISCC).
