Bio

I grew up in a small town in Michigan and moved to the desert after graduating high school. I am an alumna of College of the Desert (AA Liberal Arts), CSUSB (BA Psychology and MS Industrial/Organizational Psychology) and Grand Canyon University (PhD Performance Psychology). My favorite areas of psychology are Sports Psychology, I/O, and Social Psych. I am a big fan of Albert Bandura and believe that our environment has a big impact on our behavior. I teach at the Palm Desert Campus and online and serve as the faculty advisor for Psychology students at PDC. I absolutely love teaching and I feel right at home in the university environment. I love working with students and helping them find a path they are passionate in!

My husband and I have an awesome son and 4 dogs. We love sports - I personally love hockey, college football, and soccer the most, but I will watch anything! All three of us train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, play golf, love great restaurants, and impromptu trips to Big Bear.
