Bio

I am a passionate school counselor that is paving the way for equity and access for ALL of my students. I serve on the district Counseling Leadership team, where I lead our Data Committee to continue learning and skill development within the counseling department. I also serve on my site's PBIS committee, where we work together to implement positive behavior supports on campus. I was named the College of Education’s Outstanding Graduate Student of 2019 at CSUSB. I have past experience working as an academic advisor at the high school level where I taught a College and Career course, worked on college workshops, transcript reviews, four year plans, and socioemotional well being. My goal is to advocate for my students, build a positive school culture, and create a safe space for my students and families to thrive in.
