Bio
Eric Milenkiewicz is the Head of Special Collections & University Archives in the John M. Pfau Library. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside (1999) and earned his Master of Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archival Studies from San Jose State University (2007). He currently oversees the library's Special Collections & University Archives department, providing leadership for the selection, description, management, and preservation of the library's rare book and archival collections. Additionally, he participates in outreach activities, delivers instructional workshops, and provides reference/research consultations on library archival holdings to the campus and local communities. He is also actively involved in the profession and community, having served three times on the Executive Board of the Society of California Archivists, most recently as the President of the Society of California Archivists in 2020, and is a Commissioner on the County of Riverside Archives Commission. Prior to CSUSB, he worked as an Archivist at the UC Riverside Library for 13 years.
